Neurotic Tendencies | Neurotic TendenciesHOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Dedee Pfeiffer ("For Your Love") and Gary Cole ("The Brady Bunch Movie") have been cast as the leads in NBC's Kelsey Grammer-produced comedy pilot "Neurotic Tendencies." Pfeiffer is set to star in "Neurotic" as a struggling New York actress who marries a hot-shot studio exec (Cole) and moves with him to Los Angeles. Lonely in La-la Land, Pfeiffer's character invites several of her New York friends to head West with her. Other cast members include former "Saturday Night Live" star Ellen Cleghorne, Missi Pyle, Niesha Trout and Meredith Scott Lynn. While "For Your Love" has been renewed for next season, all remaining segments of the comedy are expected to be completed by July. Pfeiffer, however, remains in second position with "Neurotic," should the WB choose to extend "Love" beyond its expected 100-episode run. In addition to her role on "Love," Pfeiffer also known for playing Cybill Shepherd's eldest daughter on "Cybill." Cole's recent feature credits include "A Simple Plan," "A Very Brady Sequel" and "Office Space." On the small screen, he was a regular on the short-lived CBS drama "American Gothic" and starred in the NBC drama "Midnight Caller."
